We definitely had the best of both worlds, as far as locations go! I love Malibu Engagement session’s! We started out at Solstice Canyon for the first half of the engagement shoot and moseyed on over to Point Dume to finish it off! It doesn’t get much better than that – starting off in the beautiful mountains, and ending up on a beach with a gorgeous sunset!
Caitlin and Parker both grew up in my hometown of Moorpark, CA, which is also actually where they first met, at a house party! You can find romance anywhere, even at house parties – you might just not know it at the time ;). Their paths crossed again in Orange County for Parker’s 20th Birthday in 2009 and from there, the rest is history! They started their long distance relationship while Parker was going to school in the OC, seeing each other every other week until Parker graduated! After 6 amazing years with each other, on the exact day of their 6 year anniversary, Parker proposed to Caitlin when taking her on a stroll down the beach. A photographer that happened to be near by taking sunset photos turned the camera to them when Parker got down on one knee, and the photos are stunning! Meant to be! Everything happens for a reason, in my books!
I’m so excited for their wedding in September at the Carondelet house in Los Angeles!
