Engagements
53 postsIt's been a few months since I've been back to Malibu Creek, at least since all this rain has fallen. As you can see, everything now is SO GREEN! It's incredible! This was one of the most beautiful days I've ever had at Malibu Creek. I'm hopping it will stay cool like this for a little while longer! Chandler and Pete were impressed with the location, and the fact that it wasn't overcrowded....
Point Dume is just so dang pretty, it’s a new fan favorite for my couples! Thankfully, we were blessed with the most perfect weather, after having to cancel twice due to the crazy rainstorms. Vanessa and Steven were so much fun to hang out with, that I even forgot I was working for a second. You’ll see in the photos below, they brought some champagne along, and, well...Steven prematurely popped it....
Malibu is filled with the most beautiful locations for engagement sessions - there really isn’t a bad place to shoot. Everywhere you turn, there’s either ocean views or rolling mountains, that’s why it’s always a fan favorite! It doesn’t matter what time of the year or what the weather is, it’s always magnificent. Amanda and Cameron brought their adorable puppy and he acted like a professional model, as you can see...
El Matador beach makes for one stunning background for engagment sessions! I couldn't be more thankful for the perfect weather we had for this shoot! Especially seeing how we had to cancel twice before, due to the crazy amount of rain we've had in California this year! Needless to say, this day couldn't of been any nicer! Nick and Hannah met at Chico State while Nick played baseball, Hannah played volleyball. One night,...
Last weekend, Katy and I got to spend the day with Rochelle and Mason down in beautiful Newport Beach for their engagement session. Let me tell you, Newport is undoubtedly one of my new favorite places and I would probably consider moving there if I wasn’t moving to Thousand Oaks at the end of the month. These two are some of my favorite people. Katy and Rochelle are good friends...
This love story started back in 2008 on the last day of high school. Breanna tagged along with her best friend Amanda to get yearbook signatures in a different class room. As she was waiting patiently, she heard someone say "Hey, do you want to sign my yearbook!?" Now, who do you think that someone was? Good guess, how'd you know? That was their first and only interaction throughout all of...
The Venice Canals are such a rad place! I'm always so excited when clients pick unique locations like the canals. Kiley and Kyle were the absolute sweetest! I had a such a fun afternoon with these two, roaming around, finding beautiful light! I didn't want the session to end, but unfortunately, the sun was eventually gone, haha :) Kylie and Kyle met during their senior year of high school at a retreat in...
Katie and Michael's story started while they were watching one of my all-time favorite shows, “Entourage” at a party. This first encounter was shortly lived, however, as Katie and her friend had to leave the party out of the blue. But it wasn’t long until Katie and Mike saw eachother again, and actually got to hang out this time at a USC football game. Sparks instantly flew and it was...
We started our journey at the beautiful Solstice Canyon in Malibu, CA! Luckily, the rain held out and it turned out to be one of the most beautiful days. After about 45 minutes, we decided to head out to Point Dume National Preserve, to try and catch the sunset. WE SUCCEEDED! Natasha and Donovan were troopers, we literally ran up the side of the mountain as the sun was setting....
Don’t get me wrong, I always love meeting new clients, but it is a ton of fun for me to get to work with friends of mine! Matt and I played basketball together, so to come full circle and be able to photograph his wedding is awesome. We had a blast shooting engagement photos and popping champagne in Malibu last week, which I know is just a preview of the...
