To switch things up a bit, instead of the usual sunset shoot, my engagement session with Sydney and Nick was at sunrise! Kicking this Cal State University Long Beach Engagement Session off just as the day was beginning, Sydney and Nick were total troopers and were up and ready to go long before I even had my first sip of coffee! These two were a total joy to be around and made this early morning shoot one to remember!
First meeting at CSULB in 2012, Sydney and Nick were RA’s during their first year in the dorms. Syndey, a brainiac, was studying to become a chemist and Nick, also a brainiac, was studying to become an engineer. Immediately drawn to each other, they became best friends, and started dating in 2014, just days before they graduated. Falling madly in love, the last two years have been filled with nothing but happiness and excitement for the future. Crazy football fans, each with a case of wanderlust, these lovebirds are determined to travel around the US and attend a game at each NFL stadium nation-wide at least once.
This engagement session was something special! Getting to go back to where Sydney and Nick first met four years ago…let me tell you, sparks were surely flying! I just love getting to hear all of these stories of how my clients first met and fell in love – especially when I get to visit the place where it all began!
I can’t wait for Sydney and Nick’s wedding at The Los Robles Gardens next year!
